The customer who customized this 250kW kaplan turbine is a gentleman from the Balkans, an industrialist who has been engaged in the hydropower industry for more than 20 years.
Due to the customer’s previous successful cooperation with Forster, the customer’s project directly signed a full set of 250kW hydropower equipment procurement contracts with us after passing the environmental assessment, including generators, turbines, microcomputer speed regulators, transformers, 5 in 1 integrated control systems, etc.
In the fall of 2023, the customer completed the feasibility study and environmental approval of the hydropower project, and then started the construction of the dam and machine room of the 250kW hydropower project.
The development of a 250 kW axial flow hydropower station represents a promising opportunity for harnessing renewable energy. With careful planning, stakeholder engagement, and a focus on sustainability, this project can contribute to local energy needs while minimizing environmental impact. As the world continues to seek sustainable solutions, hydropower remains a vital component of the clean energy landscape.
