1. The load shedding and load shedding tests of hydro generator units shall be conducted alternately. After the unit is initially loaded, the operation of the unit and relevant electromechanical equipment shall be checked. If there is no abnormality, the load rejection test can be carried out according to the system conditions.
2. During the on load test of water turbine generator unit, the active load shall be increased step by step, and the operation of each part of the unit and the indication of each instrument shall be observed and recorded. Observe and measure the vibration range and magnitude of the unit under various load conditions, measure the pressure pulsation value of the draft tube, observe the working condition of the water guide device of the hydraulic turbine, and conduct the test if necessary.
3. Carry out the speed regulation system test of the unit under load. Check the stability of unit regulation and mutual switching process under speed and power control mode. For propeller turbine, check whether the association relationship of speed regulation system is correct.
4. Carry out the rapid load increase and decrease test of the unit. According to the site conditions, the sudden load of the unit shall not change more than the rated load, and the transition process of unit speed, volute water pressure, draft tube pressure pulsation, servomotor stroke and power change shall be recorded automatically. In the process of load increase, pay attention to observe and monitor the vibration of the unit, and record the corresponding load, unit head and other parameters. If the unit has obvious vibration under the current water head, it shall be crossed quickly.
5. Conduct excitation regulator test of hydro generator unit under load:
1) If possible, adjust the reactive power of the generator from zero to the rated value according to the design requirements when the active power of the generator is 0%, 50% and 100% of the rated value respectively, and the adjustment shall be stable and without runout.
2) If possible, measure and calculate the terminal voltage regulation rate of hydro generator, and the regulation characteristics shall have good linearity and meet the design requirements.
3) If possible, measure and calculate the static pressure difference rate of hydro generator, and its value shall meet the design requirements.When there are no design regulations, it shall not be greater than 0.2%, -, 1% for electronic type and 1%, – 3% for electromagnetic type
4) For the thyristor excitation regulator, various limiter and protection tests and settings shall be carried out respectively.
5) For units equipped with power system stability system (PSS), 10% – 15% rated load shall be changed suddenly, otherwise its function will be affected.
6. When adjusting the active load and reactive load of the unit, it shall be carried out on the local governor and excitation device respectively, and then controlled and adjusted through the computer control system.
